When I open

Collection
Cruiser requires that Internet Explorer
4.0 or greater be installed on your
computer. If Internet Explorer is
already installed, you may try to
re-install it or upgrade to a newer
version.
Make sure that items appear on the
Cruiser Layout tab within Collection
Creator. Also, make sure that they
are linked to a file or url, by
selecting Item Properties from the
Layout menu.

When
installing Collection Creator, I get an
error message about the Windows
Installer?
You may need to get an update for your
Windows Installer program from
Microsoft. This is sometimes the
case if you are running an older version
of the Windows operating system.
You can find updates to the Installer at
following locations:
Windows 95,
98, and Me
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.php?ReleaseID=32831
Windows
NT 4.0 and 2000
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.php?releaseid=32832&NewList=1

After

Collection Manager window is empty?
Collection Cruiser does not come with
any collections pre-installed. You
have to install or register a collection before they
will appear in the Collection Manager
window.

I
accidentally removed a file from my
collection, re-added it, and now it says
it cannot find the file?
The error you are referring to happens
when you have items tied to the file
that you removed. Collection
Creator keeps internal reference keys
when linking files. When a file is
added to the collection it is given a
unique identifier that is used when
linking an item in the layout to
it. When the item was removed and
then re-added, it was given a new unique
identifier that did not match the one
previously linked to. Simply open
the properties of the item in question,
and re-link to the new file. Back
